March is "Tiki Drink" month at Polly's! Polly's is being transformed into a "polly"nesian paradise with sweet non-alcoholic drinks. These additions will certainly warm up the temperatures quickly. Each week Polly's will highlight a different drink. This week we start out with Shirley Temple. This drink originated in 1930 with the sweet movie and childstar .This drink is a combination of lemon lime soda and grenadine juice(Pomegranate), topped with a little umbrella and a cherry for $1.40.
Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Polly's Coffee Cove will be the site for our Eastside Garden Club. Anyone is welcome to come. You can live anywhere to attend. Our guest speaker will be
Sue Oven, Master Gardener who will be speaking on "Pruning". We will also have other master gardeners and specialists to energize planting in St Paul. Another date to mark on your calendar is March 20, 2009, Friday at 6:30 PM. Polly's will have Duke Addicks, North Star Story Telling League lead our 2009 "Story Sharing Experience". Duke will play a variety of Native American music along with demonstrating story sharing. Then....... the audience will participate in sharing their stories.............. Call and reserve a spot today!
